Hey John - Thanks for the compliment. The point of the article is that Slayer is designed to look good with the additional height and without compromising on functionality. Later postings will reveal how easy it is to access the machine from the side to get to heating elements and so on. You are going to love the brand new world of the super traditional espresso machine. When thinking about Slayer be sure to check your prejudices, conventional thinking, and preconceived notions at the door. Jepy, fasten your seatbelt, the ride is just getting started. Welcome aboard!

All this about the X, although cool looking Aren't they still legs? It looks like you have about the same space as any machine with NSF style, so what's the real bonus here besides looks?.

So are you saying all service on this machine is done from front to back, and no need to access the sides?. Does NSF approve your style too?

Hi Eric,
didn't know, that one of the reasons for the beautyfull X Legs are the NSF law. But I think, the NSF is right, because it make sense in having a clean and customer friendly surrounding.
With the X Legs it is clear for me, that your company did not as a lot of other manufacturs only screw four longer legs underneath, No, you start at the beginning and re-design and re-construct something, what in the first sign looks easy but isn't.
Further you select a material ( Aluminum ) for the leg construction which is in your design not simple cutt out from sheet metal, it is in real craftmanship produced by a casting foundry.
Looking forward for more stunning details to come !
