I wrote this piece some time ago. . . But take things like your typical off-the-shelf pressure gauge or even pressure stats and think how these respond to change or how precise they actually are when they finally land.  These items are really more like the dummy lights on old GM&#039;s than real diagnostic tools with meaningful read-outs.  Even the iconic LM sight glass never reads the same way on two different machines for a number of reasons.  Maybe it isn&#039;t that important that it does.  But these are the things that I am referring to.</description>
